P. KAY Metal today announced that it will manufacture its dross eliminating MS2™ Molten Solder Surfactant in China starting in 2008.

“As the volume of MS2 used in China increases it makes sense from a freight and availability standpoint to locally manufacture” said Dan Feinberg, P. Kay's V. P. “Because the China market is so vast and we are beginning to make progress at an accelerated rate the investment in local blending and inventory is more than justified” stated the Companies President. Larry Kay.

Detailed information regarding expanded representation as well as availability of the regionally manufactured MS2™ will be forthcoming.

MS2 ™ Molten Solder Surfactant generated high degree of interest recently at Nepcon Korea as well as Nepcon China ( Shanghai ). Tamura Corporation of Korea displayed MS2 in a working Tamura solder pot at Nepcon Korea Exposition held April 4 th -6 th in Seoul , Korea . Attendees observed the magic of dross elimination before their eyes. Pres. Byung Kim was pleased to demonstrate the capability of MS2 to attendees.

The SMTA International Conference was held in conjunction with the Nepcon China ( Shanghai ) Exposition. Dr. Erik Severin, MS2 Regional Manager and Mr. Jim Wu of WKK, the distributor for MS2 in China presented a paper titled “A Unique Process for Eliminating Solder Dross.” The paper had a requirement to be presented in Chinese and Dr. Severin presented in English and Mr. Wu in Chinese

Keith Howell presented a presentation on MS2 SMTA International Conference on Soldering and Reliability held April 17 th and 18 th in Toronto, Canada . The conference was well attended with the presentation split between soldering and reliability concerns. Adtool, Inc, the Canadian distributor for MS2 had a display table which including MS2 at the conference.
